N21483 Pickup

My flight instructor (Nenad Paleka) and I were flown from Oakland California on the 22nd of October to Independence Kansas (90 miles north of Tulsa Oklahoma) to pickup the Plane.

The Plane - A Cessna 172SP

The last stage.  The hanger in the back is where the planes are painted.  This hanger is where they are readied for customer delivery.

Right before delivery - this is where they make sure everything is complete with no scratches or problems.

Our path...

The Cockpit - Avionics.  Actually, this is a picture of my auto-pilot flying the plane.  This device flew about 1/2 of the way from Kansas to Livermore California.  It could have flown the entire way, but I wanted to fly it just a little.

Some pretty nice front and Back seats

Bill and his flight instructor Nenad Paleka - he may not look it, but he is an incredible pilot (a bit of a nag though).
