| Question:
You're ready to take your IPC (Instrument Proficiency Check) and
there are no planes available. You notice the flight school
has just installed a really cool flight simulator (Basic Aviation
Training Device - B-ATD), but your instructor says that you can't
use that simulator for your IPC. Is your instructor correct? |
| Answer: No. A Basic ATD, if approved by the FAA, can be used to complete an entire instrument proficiency check as long as that Basic-ATD is approved for re-currency. Ahart's simulator fits the bill. Click here to see. |
